Future Proofing
The final development of the masterplan sees sequential upgrading of the site to increase capacity to 5,000 spectators. The future success of the clubs will place increased demands on the facilities and this has been considered and incorporated in the design works to “future-proof” the site. The design of the main stand building allows for future extension to accommodate higher spectator numbers should the need arise.
West Stand - Extensions at the north and south ends of the terrace and spectator accommodation to provide and additional 500 seats and associated welfare facilities.
Increased first floor external balcony/hospitality space.
North Stand Terrace - Installation of new roof structure
East Stand - Extensions at the north and south ends to provide 500 new seats and a further 300 spectator standing spaces
Potential for further extensions and continuous roof space linking with north and south stands
South Stand - Potential mixed use development accommodation block.
These enhancements would increase the spectator capacity to 5,000 comprising 2,000 seats and 3,000 standing.
